DEFENCE NEWS

  • Tri-Services Exercise (TSE-2025) Trishul commenced in early November 2025 by the Indian Navy as the lead service.
  • India ended its strategic military presence at Ayni Airbase, Tajikistan, marking the conclusion of its deployment in Central Asia.
  • The Indian Army conducted Drone and Counter-Drone Exercise Vayu Samanvay-II on 28–29 October 2025 under Southern Command.
  • Poorvi Prachand Prahar, a tri-service exercise, will be held in Mechuka, Arunachal Pradesh in November 2025.

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a ₹150 commemorative coin and a special postage stamp for Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s 150th birth anniversary in Kevadia, Gujarat.
  • The UNESCO Creative Cities Network recognised Lucknow as a Creative City of Gastronomy.
